Freight Agent Job Description
Coastal Transportation is seeking qualified freight agents with experience an active shipper following for our independent freight broker agent positions .
Freight Agent Job Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in trucking operations, brokerage sales/service, and/or dispatching operations?
- Must have active and current account activity and a demonstrable track record of success.
- Must Possess: The ability / know how to run your own independent freight agent office including servicing your shippers and carriers from beginning to end of their loads?
- Accurately bidding your loads and running a healthy margin.
- Excellent communication skills? Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills?
